Australian patients ?

Just wondering how many of this Behçet’s community are in Australia?

I have a good doctor friend (we grew up as neighbours) who has moved to work in Dermatology Down Under. She knows all about my Behçet’s disease and I wondered if there are any support groups or conferences out there, or who your experts in the field are!

Hi Legomum, I live in Melbourne I have a great Rheumatologist based at Royal Melbourne Hospital called Dr Sabina Ciciriello. She has a vast knowledge on Bechets disease.

Thank you Zevas. Wonderful to hear there are some experts in Behçet’s there. My friend is currently based in Brisbane but prior to that she was in Sydney, and happily travels around the country for conferences or specific training (or to play in a doctors’ orchestra!). It is a long time since I was in Melbourne but was my favourite city
