Hello! And welcome. Are the colchicine and prednisolone helping? It takes several months for colchicine to show its full effects. I found it helpful for arthritis and ulcers but in the end the gastrointestinal effects were too much for me.
Thanks Jaxxi! It probably helped but as my initial treatment was the commencement of colchicine and Prednisolon simultaneously and Prednisolon is more powerful, I can't actually say the exact effect of colchicine. I feel it has had a moderate effect on both ulcers and arthritis, however I had mild flareups while on colchicine alone (in stressful occasions).
With what dose do you sustain GI problems? I could tolerate upto 1.5 mg but now continuing 1mg.
Hello Hoda_16, Hope you find help here. It has helped me to learn a lot more about our illness. Welcome. x
