I am glad some of my posts are liked by so many of you and they may help others.

Over 30 years of Behcets and most of the worst symptoms possible, with Doctors thinking I am Crazy - has not been for nothing. If I can help just ONE person with honest answers, humor or just a new friend that understands and will listen. Then my misery has not been a wasted life.

I am also a Whole Body donor through MEDCURE.org. I wanted to be an organ donor - But the Inflammation of the Behcets made that not a viable option.

Through WHOLE BODY DONATION, Doctors and Scientists can better study and understand this disease. Without that knowledge no CURE or even better treatments can be found. A woman at the American Behcets assoc. (Now Behcets.com), says HOPE is the sweetest word.

I disagree. I say CURE is the sweetest word, and I hope it can start to be found by my whole body donation. I am literally, "One in a Million" here in the U.S.

I have so many symptoms that are considered RARE by all standards. Plus, I have ALL of my own medical records that will go with my body when I pass, from 1996 and continuing. I hope ANSWERS will be found from all of this! This could be what helps you, all the way to your Great Grand Children, to Beat Behcets!

It has to first be KNOWN what causes a disease, before a Cure or even Medications can be developed. This is MY effort to do my part.

I am willing to share all I have learned after thousands of hours on this computer doing my own research, with any one that asks.

Hi Cindy, I want to tell you you're not alone here in America. I too have Behçet's and I live in Dothan Alabama. I am finally experiencing a remission which I can hardly believe. I think you are wonderful to be researching and documenting your experiences with this disease. Behcet's has caused so much havoc in my health from skin issues to heart and lung involvement. Sadly, my doctors have never fully understood this very real and troublesome disease. For now, I'm enjoying healthy days although I continue to take Imuran and Colchicine. Thanks for all of your efforts. God bless!

I AM DOING WHOLE BODY DONATION, TO ADVANCE MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF NEURO BEHCET'S. I KNOW IT CREEPS SOME PEOPLE OUT( and that is okay!).

I THINK ALL MY SUFFERING MUST BE FOR A REASON, SO I WILL HELP EDUCATE MEDICAL STUDENTS AS A CADAVER, AND THE DOCTORS THAT TRAIN THEM FOR ALL BEHCET'S PATIENTS.
