Dear step,

What makes you think you have syphilis? Have you had a test?

You really need to go along to Sexual Health / GUM clinic (bashh.org/clinics). They can test you and arrange treatment if required.

It would still be treatable and would require injections of long acting form of penicillin.

Kind regards

Hi Step,

What makes you think you've got syphilis, have you had a test or do you have symptoms?

Lots of other conditions get confused with syphilis!

whittallstreet.nhs.uk/conte... has some good information.

The safest way of (confirming) and being treated for syphilis is to attend a sexual health (GUM) clinic and be seen by an expert.

Find your nearest clinic by putting your postcode in the BASHH clinic finder. bashh.org/clinics
