The Contraceptive Pill. Is this normal?

I got prescribed levest on the 19th December and was fine up until the 24th. I got a sudden pain in my chest, it wasn’t severe just really uncomfortable, and the pain went through to my back, as well as this, i got a dull ache in my left arm, this all went away after 15-20 minutes but i was really worried. I read the symptoms on the leaflet, which made me terrified of the possibility of having a blood clot. I carried on taking this, getting pain in my leg on christmas day that carried over onto boxing day, started having headaches too as well as rashes on my legs. I phoned my GP, told her my symptoms and she prescribed me a different pill. I am now on Norimin (been on it for 2 days), but am still facing the same aches and pains in my legs and chest, headaches, as well as pins and needles in my left foot. I cant get an appointment at my doctors until Monday but am wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I’m probably going to stop taking the pill, both for my peace of mind and in hopes the pain stops but I am hoping someone could give me any advice.

I think it is unlikely that after just 5 days of the pill you would develop a blood clot, but if you are concerned with these symptoms and they are persisting , you should be going to accident and emergency for an assessment.

I'm actually facing the same problem as you and it has been going on for 2weeks now. I have a doctors appointment today and hopefully l will be helped
