Never had an std before, what do I doooo.

I got tested for Chlamydia, tested positive, got it from an ex partner who didn’t know had it. Just never had an std before and I’m freaking out.

If you are in the UK, you can attend a sexual health clinic for treatment , who can discuss this further with you . Had you ever tested before ? Chlamydia affects 1 in 10 in the 15-24 age group. Its totally treatable and curable. info here : bashhguidelines.org/media/1...

the last time I got tested was when I was 19. I already took the medication the doctors provided me. But i am all new to this, I know I’m not supposed to have sex for 7 days. Do I clean all my towels everyday? Can I shower with my boyfriend? Don’t worry he’s got tested and got the shot too. I need to know what I can and cannot do.

Chlamydia cant be passed with towels or showering together. Did you look at the link I posted ? you can pretty much carry on with life as normal except no sex for 7 days

Turns out, I did get it from someone who knew he had it the whole time. I’ve been clean for an entire month now, thanks for the advice!!
