I’m still on my first ever pack of combined oral contraceptive pills and one of the main reasons of me going on the pill was bc my skin is quite bad. I’m only 15 and have quite bad acne and spots . I was told the pill is supposed to help my skin however it’s got so bad recently . I have even more spots than before and there quite painful . I break out with new ones everyday . Could anyone tell me why this is happening ?

Hi Ellephant, what pill have you been placed on ? Some women can have problems with the progestogens in the pill , and with severe acne its usually combined with antibiotic therapy. it also takes time for them to have an effect.
