So had abortion in September everything seemed fine, October had constant brown bleeding, November had constant brown spotting, December spotting brown thick rubbery discharge.. January nothing.. February I woke up 3 days in a row with sore stomach around the belly button area was really bad pain definitely like that period pain I used to get... Visit the toilet 4 times thought I had diarrhoea but it wasn't as I know from periods before this happens. Went for a hot bath and took ibrufen felt normal. Next day I was walking about alot and could feel spotting (thought it was blood) but visit to the toilet was just brown thick discharge but feels like blood when it comes out... Why don't I have a normal period

You should have rang the clinic or hospital where you had your abortion after the first lot of weeks. You could have an infection so I would definitely make an appointment with your gp and if possible take photos of this brown discharge so that they can see how severe it is at times. Good luck

Hi have rang the NHS so many times about the brown discharge. I even phoned and email a sexual health clinic, the nurse said on phone it was just old blood so I left it and left it and phoned again even complain to general manager sent a email, a nurse phoned me again and I told her my email she said it was old blood.. I went in for appointment and the nurse was forcing me to get the depo injection but I told her I ain't getting it until she tells me what this brown discharge is.. I had pics and tried to show her but she turned her head and said she doesn't want to see them.

The nurse wasn't being professional by not looking or getting a Dr to look at them. I would make an appointment with a different Dr in your surgery until you get someone to actually listen and look. Good luck

It could also be where the pregnancy hasn't fully passed, definatly go back to the doctors, threaten them with small claims court if the issue Isn't resolved in a professional manner if you have to, if there are pregnant remains then it can make you really ill
