why has gp changed my drug

i have been taking Tramquel SR or (tramadol) because this brand does not have side effects that effect me, yet today my gp has changed this to Marol 100mg. i need to find out before i see my gp on wednesday 29th, has tramquel been stopped bye nhs england? or whoever it is that stops drugs being on prescriptions, can anyone help point me in the right direction, please can you help?????

i would ask your GP. Looking online it seems that both drugs contain the active drug Tramodol and are slow release. May be a different brand containing the same ingredients?
