I have Chlamydia but my boyfriend doesn't.

Recently i got tested for stds. I tested positive for Chlamydia, however my partners test came back negative. We have been together for 5 months. How is this possible?

So you have been having unprotected sex with your b/f for 5 months and you tested neg. for Chlamydia before this relationship? And you haven't had unprotected sex with anyone else for this time period? if these preconditions are true then: perhaps Chlamydia takes time to 'sero convert' ie. manifest an immune response and show positive? There is a lot about immunity that is not well understood. Perhaps your b/f's immune system suppresses the infection whereas yours does not? This happens commonly and the dynamics are not well understood nor published.
