Levest combined pill

I recently started taking the Levest combined pill on Thursday 30th April. This means I will be due my "break week" on Thursday 22nd May however this week is very inconvenient to be on my period! Could I take the pill for four weeks straight and then have a two week break? Or is it too risky considering I've just started this contraception?

its fine to take for an extra week. I'm on the same and my doctor said its perfectly fine and safe to do as I wanted to due to being on holiday. Also just continue with a one week gap there is no need to take a two week gap. Hope this helps you

Take it for 6 weeks then have your weeks break. You can take them back to back for 3 months, you just need to have 4 bleeds a year.

I am a mere man but in the early days of the pill women would do this with no side effects at all. In those days the pill was simpler and "stronger" and certainly prevented bleeding and - to a large degree - PMS.

Give it a try as the other poster says - carry on with next three weeks and take a break at end of packet
