i once dated a girl for 8yrs and i would get cold sores and she would kiss me. now she gets them does this mean she has the virus?

ever since i was little i remember getting them. i would tell her not to kiss me because she could get them, but she would kiss me anyways. Now she gets them more often than not. Does this mean she have the herpes virus?

simple answer is yes...... But most people (around 80%) have got the cold sore virus, it's just that some people get more cold sores than other who have the virus.
