I am 56 years old, mother of four healthy adult children. I recently discovered that I am pregnant and so is my oldest daughter. These past four months have been the hardest for me, as I am being treated as a Phyciatric patient. I have not been able to find a specialist in cryptic pregnancy and it is devastating . I am scared because I have always had difficult labor which ended up in c-sections with my blood pressure shooting through the roof. At this point I just have to wait until I go into labor as nothing else to do.

Can anyone tell me where and how to find help with a cryptic pregnancy?
Ohh that's really good news as well as a bad one at the same time. I wouldn't doubt you because women do get pregnant at 53 very very rare but possible. The urine and blood test just fails to detect it because at the post menopausal stage your hormones are all unstable to do the detection. So congratulations on being pregnant! <3 Maybe you can wait it out till the 6th week and see if USG can detect it.... chances are thin though. It's really sad however that not only people doubt you but you're unable to locate a cryptic pregnancy specialist in your vicinity. Try online... as in search with the keyword and see if there's any Gynae or OB that claims to have handled cryptic pregnancy. I couldn't be of much help... sorry for that but guess knowing someone belives you will help you stay strong over the odds. Stay well!
