I have suffered for anxiety for as long as I can remember. I have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder several years ago. Now that I am currently pregnant, I have had to go off many of my medications that kept me at bay for years. So right now I am struggling to learn other ways to deal with my anxiety and depression. Reaching out here is one.
Some days are better than others. Today I feel hopeless and overwhelmed with life all at the same time. I feel a lot of fear today, and I’m not sure why.
Open to any support. Thanks

I am so glad that you are reaching out. You are in such a difficult position . Do you have a good support system? Have you considered seeing a counselor during this time to help with coping strategies? There are things you can learn to do when you feel an episode coming on to turn your what you think into something positive and take action against the darkness. One thing that might help is to make sure that you regularly read positive things about your baby and how they are growing and thinking about being a mom. I can post a link to some fun articles that might encourage you as you fight to be positive minded and fight against this darkness for your baby. "Everyday Warriors that we call Mom" bit.ly/2wykb0S (you may have to copy and paste that into your browser). I'm not saying that every article relates--- just maybe it will be uplifting to you during this time. If it helps, a lot of moms struggle with all kinds of fear about being a mom, with the baby, etc. etc. Keep reaching out for help! I am a woman of faith and so I prayed a lot during my pregnancy and times of despair and I also danced to music and tried to have fun even when I didn't feel like it. Keep fighting for your self and your baby!
I'm sorry to hear about your condition... but don't worry everything will be okay. Hugs for you! I guess I got a glimpse of what you're saying over my fertility struggle. Here are a few things you can try to keep the anxiety at bay. Meditation, if you haven't already tried it. I've heard it helps a lot of people with anxiety, depression and stuff like that which do not let you be at peace or get you frantic at times. In fact, there is special Merkaba meditation for pregnant woman that even helps the pregnancy. You can definitely try it. Massage and spa session are also good to calm down and feel rejuvenated from the weary stress and all that. Besides, go out with friends, join up some creative club if you have any interest and binge on favourite food. It's the small things actually that keep us happy and keep us from the evils if mental agony and anxiety... just think of the baby when you feel the trigger it'll calm you down inspire hope.
