My little boy is verbal and can ask for what he wants and feels but if he is happy, sad, excited running and playing with the dog or his cousins he shrieks so loud we all get headaches. When we say we have a headache he feels sad and cries but next day he shrieks again. What can we do? Please any help or suggestions are welcome!!! Thank you

Teaching him first difference between shouting and talking softly and if you do showing gradually we are happy in calm voice than angry in shouting voice. Keep showing difference until tempted to use natural nice voice and showing him love when using soothing voice like cuddling or pushing away when loud

Maybe encouraging him to label / name a particular emotion and then make a social story around that?
