If I get diagnosed with autism and I’m working but I’m in a 3 month trial and I tell them if I’m autistic will they potentially not offer me the contract due to my autism and would that be discrimination or they would still offer me a contract despite having the battle and struggling with autism.

Hi it would be Discrimination yes esp if have no reason not to offer you the job if you have been a fully suitable and capable person in that post.
What type of Autism is it? as Autism is more an umbrella term ok yes we all use it but there are many types within it ive Asperger's which is deemed "High Functioning" which ok is in some areas but not good in all.
High Functioning is an IQ deemed above 70? if i remember right which is pretty low even if someone is a bit above that.
So Best wishes on how it all goes on.

Thank you for the response, at the moment I’m just waiting on a diagnosis so not sure how autistic I am but I do struggle to understand instructions sometimes and I do things differently there are moments where I even zone out when I work.
Join the club i just often do my own thing!
Had a stroke type thing few years back which has caused many issues as now can't use the tube and don't really feel comfortable on trains either Buses 50/50!
Also causes me issues with doing things as forget/can't remember things i should!
I never told them about the autism but I did say I’m struggling working their alone so I’ve heard rumours that apparently they will be hiring a lot of people due to the redundancies they have done during the summer. So I could From January be working with someone but not sure
