Autism test

Hello, can someone give me some feedback? I have been researching autism for some time, for a FICTIONAL novel I am writing. But during my research process, which includes talking to many families with autistic children, and numerous individuals diagnosed with Aspergers. I have come to a deep seeded suspicion that I might also be on the autistic spectrum myself. I took three tests online, and my scores range from 23 - 26. What do I do now? And how do I explain to my wife that I am thinking about being tested ??

If you are concerned, you should go to your GP. Take a list of symptoms and why you think you need an assessment. Your GP will then decide whether or not to refer you for assessment. Good luck!

Hello, thank you for your advice. I went to see a mental health assessment nurse today to help deal with my depression, and I told her about my concerns. I am going to regard to a counsellor, with hopes of getting treatment.
