Hi, my son is nearly 20 and has FA, he is keen on keeping fit and strong and does regular excersises and would like to start having protein shakes/drinks to help build him up. Does anyone know if this would be a problem in any way for someone with FA. Does anyone else use them? Many Thanks

Hi bakethat
Thanks for your question. I don't see any problem at all with your son having protein shakes. I have never heard of anyone with FA having them but I don't think there is any reason at all why he shouldn't have them as long as they are in the context of a well balanced diet.
