A short but sad poem by DP (Disabled Paul)

As I lay so quiet and so still

I feel the cold, the damp and the chill

I was hoping my life was on the mend

But I’m afraid it’s coming to a end

I open my eyes and see all the rubble

And realise I’m drunk and lying in a puddle. 😂

Hello my friend

It only takes one soldier to win the war you’re fighting and that’s you.

Best foot forward which ever one that is 🤷🏻‍♂️

NO SURRENDER

In the words of the song- Pick yourself up, dust yourself off; Start all over again!

Difficult, I know, but it's the only way.

My teeshirt today says 'I tried to be normal once--- Worst two minutes of my Life! ' ;)

Cheers, Midori
