I tripped pn the cat and fell and fractured the lumber region of my spine. I had surgery and am recovering well and walkiing a little with a walker. Although I had surgery just over a week ago and feel better everyday. Best wishes, Isabel

Sorry to hear this. Hope you recover fully. My biggest fear is falling over the cat. We had dogs for years but decided against getting another one being sensible. x

Oh no…I can’t imagine what that must have felt like ..Take it easy and be kind to yourself🙂

I also have a cat.. and I need to know where she is all the time when I’m on my feet.

It’s good to know you’re on the road to recovery now..but watch out for that cat 😉

Someones suggested I got a little dog or cat.

My answer was that as I don't tend to see what is under my feet, it wouldn't be good for either me or the pet!

If I had a dog it would have to be a medium sized breed, and ideally a couch potato, because I'm not up to chasing it!

You certainly did yourself a nasty injury there, Glad it was treated fast and you are doing incredibly well with your recovery!

Cheers, Midori

I'm going in a month to try to fix a fracture in my hip. No tripping over the cat, tipped over on my walking bike. Best wishes to you and your recovery. :)

I feel your pain. I'm helpless if I fall. I would dearly love a dog again, but I couldn't walk a big one, which would be my preference, and a small one would trip me up!

Cheers, Midori
