Back after a long absence

Hi everyone it's been a while, quite challenging healthwise like so many folks but you can't keep us ataxians down we pop up again at some point. I hope your all keeping as well as you can keeping warm, soups, hot drinks etc, after all the injections for covid my hubby caught it Friday last and me last Sunday, its a case of us sleeping when we can. My friend bought me a fab pair of pink fur lined crocks instead of slippers, my hubby loved them so she got him a pair in black brilliant sturdy too. Please let me know how you are guys I have missed chatting to you is veteran and wobbybob, coco still on say 👋 and see you soon. Love pacitto xxx

Hi Pacitto🙂 We’ve had all our vaccinations too..and so far despite having worrisome symptoms..neither of us has had a positive Covid test. You’re doing all you can to aid recovery..I hope you feel much better very soon 🙂

🤔How are you getting on with Acetazolamide..is it helpful with your Episodic Ataxia

Hi wobblybee thank you for your reply. Yes I'm good on it thanks, had it increased by Sheffield had gene testing which threw up Taysar gene carrier, however no connection to ataxia. Having another brain scan due 24th Nov however I might have to cancel due to covid and reschedule.
