Does anyone have or know someone who has ever used,or is using a Whill powered wheelchair? Or Trekinetic?

quick question
I tried the Whill model c a few years ago outside only. As I recall it handled well, was sturdy and big enough but it's very heavy even when broken down into component parts to go into a car. Sorry I can't tell you more.
Not tried any of those. I have a supascoota shopper, it folds up to go in a boot. You have to get used to it though and go slow speed indoors or in crowds. I believe the lightest one is the travelscoot, if looking for lightweight. Some firms will let you try before you buy. Hope you find one that is perfect for you.
I have a trekinetic gte, the electric one. It’s great for outdoor use and works fine in shops and malls. I got it so I could go out with my wife in the New Forest, we live nearby. We have now got a WAV, a Peugeot partner, and it loads into this really easily. Before we had a golf saloon and we needed to take the wheels off to fit it in. Not difficult but a bit of a faff. They are not cheap so be clear what you need. Mostly I use mine around town and it goes with us on holiday. Cutting edge British technology.

I’ve just visited their site and it looks bloody lush, but £4000… Funding options?—I did have a motability car until 2018, so I’ve had/got decent benefits.
Looking into funding, as well as fund raising . The issue with the Motability route is I already have a car with them, and I need the car for longer journeys but the wheelchair I need for shorter journeys, like around my house, going to the park, the beach, getting around places that I have travelled in the car to get to.
