Tru Niagen as a teament

I have SCA7, I'm a 33 year old female. My eyesight is pretty bad and my balance and co-ordination is ok but not great.

I have been taing 900mg of Tru Nigen daily since May and I've havee noticed some small improvements. Now, when I stand up I don't feel like I'm going to fal over. I get much less stifness in my legs. My hands are a tiny bit more co-ordinated and I just feel a bit better overall.

I live in Ireland and I find it really hard to buy Tru Niagen especially since Brexit. Does anyone have any tips for getting it? I order from Ergomax when they ave it in stock but they seem to run out a lot.

Amazon advertises Tru Niagen but it seems to be very expensive.

Thanks, it won't work in Ireland unfortunately.

Hi, yes, I'm repeating Libra7's message that it is being advertised on Amazon. Did a doctor recommend or did you find it following your own research? It's encouraging that you are noticing a difference.

Thankks, I can't get it in Ireland from Amazon unfortunately. No, not a doctor. I read about a trial using it on clinicaltrials.gov and decided to try it.

For anybody considering buying this.......Nicotinamide riboside is a member of the vitamin B3 family, which also includes niacin and niacinamide. It's found in fruits, vegetables, meat, and milk.

There has been mention of this dietary supplement in clinicaltrials.gov in relation to ataxia...but no results published.

In the U.S. if you buy directly from the manufacturer's website they offer a 26% discount for ordering by subscription. Sadly, it is still quite expensive. Here is the link in the U.S. I hope it works in England: originalText

There was a human clinical trial for Ataxia Telangiectasia with results.-

There are also ongoing trials of Nicotinamide Riboside for Parkinson's Disease and a second trial for Ataxia Telangiectasia.

Also important to bear in mind, nicotinamide riboside enhances sirtuin activity. Niacinamide inhibits sirtuin activity. Different forms of vitamin B3 can have very different impacts on the body's metabolism.
