It’s really difficult because I can’t walk

Not only that I can’t really talk

I sit in my garden and listen to the trees

I listen to the birds the wind and the bees

I see a weed but it’s really tight

I lose my balance and fall in the sh@@@

I can’t get up as my hands don’t work

I’m starting to look like a right silly burk

My army training suddenly kicks in

So I crawl on my belly towards the bin

My wife comes running and calls me a goon

I look like the created from the black lagoon

Life is hard so we must stay strong

So I’m off for a shower to get rid of the pong

Day in my garden by Paul456 😀

How I sympathise Paul. I have been able to 'manage'my garden until last year and i've had lots of disasters including falling in my pond twice. This year I have reluctantly employed a gardener and now sitand watch and listen to the birds. I have a chair in gthe greenhouse and manage to do a little potting up

🙂 I used to find weeding therapeutic ..it was a kind of hobby 😉

Now..they multiply and taunt me knowing that they’re safe 😂

I like the idea of weeds taunting!

Your clever poem says it all! So many things are taken away from us but it can’t take away our sense of humour. Keep smiling Paul.

Hello friend

A great poem I can definitely sympathize with you. Gardening can be really therapeutic but I’m afraid when it gets to the point when we end up flat on our face in the roses that is definitely not a fun filled day in the garden🤨

The Army training comes into its own in these situations the net crawl and drop and roll has definitely been deployed in my garden i have a slight slope on my patio and I keep going off the edge in my wheelchair fortunately I land on the lawn. Enjoy your outside space if we fall we just get back up and go again 😎💂🏻

Keep well

NO SURRENDER
