We need a recommendation for a good ENT (happy to see them privately) who specialises in dysphagia (swallow) difficulties.

We live in Essex but are happy to travel if that means we will get listened to.

Please help us if you can!

I can’t recommend any I’m afraid but only sympathise with the difficulty of getting the right help - my husbands swallowing difficulty wasn’t taken seriously by his speech and language therapist /gp / gastroenterologist/ENT I basically had to research what I thought the issue was to get anyone to look into it got told he definitely didn’t have achalaisa and 3 years later after his neurologist stepped in just before Covid with some strongly worded letters he’s entirely tube fed under a dietician for malnutrition awaiting a POEM procedure to Alleviate his Alchalasia … so I wish you better luck than we had and keep pushing! Xx
