I had a fall without major injuries except some muscular pain on my back. I was feeling a little depressed and watching TV while I had breakfast the presenter said something that startled me and made me feel much better. I quote: " I am very happy and accept whatever life gives me, if it gives me lemons, I make lemonade and even add a little sugar." Immediately I began to look at all the good things I have. I may have pain now, but I have the time to rest, a sofa to sit on a confortable home to name just a few.
Let us all count our blessings and be gratefull for what we have.
Best wishes to you all
Isabel

Keep your good attitude stay calm in every situation. Talk with God say thank you. We need to think like that. You are stronger than this condition. God bless you, Isabel.
Attitude is so important, when dealing with PD, and being able to cope with falls, loss of balance, tremors, muscle stiffness, depression etc. You seem to have mastered that aspect of dealing with PD! Congratulations!
Sounds like a good philosophy. I fell over last weekend and bruised my back. I could hardly move for 2 days but I'm okay now. Hope you make a full recovery soon.
So glad you are not hurt more - I think I had a similar experience last year. TRY to get back walking as fast as you can. I am finding it a struggle to get back where I was.
Hi Litty, thank you for your concern, I was a little sore all week but never stopped walking. I did all my ironing on Monday and all my washing on tuesday. Have always managed all the housework. Today I was dropped at the shoping centre and wondered around the supermarket with the help of a shopping trolley for over an hour and then a friend met me for coffee. I feel very independant.
