Can anyone recommend a good (probably 4*) seaside hotel with:
No steps at entrance (unless there’s a rail)
Easy access to a promenade or even pathway (no busy road to cross)
Walk in shower
Parking
We’ve just spent hours on line looking for a suitable hotel. Plenty of lovely hotels at the top of cliffs but a nightmare for access to any suitable walking area!

Hi landudno in Wales has many hotels- good promonade - very disable friendly town. I use a walker and found everything accessible. Hope you too. Good luck.
Thank you for the tip about Llandudno. I’ll do some researching. We did find what seemed like a really nice and suitable hotel on the front at Sidmouth but they had no availability until the end of October! I guess anywhere nice might be already booked up 🤔
We loved Llandudno but only on a day visit. We have been to Shearinngs self drive for many years and was quite satisfied as prices were very reasonable, but they are old hotels and most have steps at the front entrance and the lifts inside are rather ancient. Not easy when the dining rooms are down stairs.Okay, when my mobility was reasonable but I don’t think I could manage there now, walking and balance is extremely difficult. Would love to hear if you have found somewhere suitable.
Thanks for the info about Shearings. I wouldn’t be able to manage steps at the entrance unless there was a rail. I think Warner’s are good for the disabled but we found all the daily quizzes etc rather annoying (though you didn’t have to join in) and the advertised entertainment never started until after 9pm which is about the time I am ready for bed!
A friend recommended the RNLI College hotel in Poole but like all good hotels they are fully booked until the end of October.
