🤔 It may be at the Neurologists discretion, I do know somebody who was offered it.. But, generally speaking..
Can I get a prescription for medical cannabis?
Very few people in England are likely to get a prescription for medical cannabis.
Currently, it is only likely to be prescribed for the following conditions:
children and adults with rare, severe forms of epilepsy
adults with vomiting or nausea caused by chemotherapy
people with muscle stiffness and spasms caused by multiple sclerosis (MS)
It would only be considered when other treatments were not suitable or had not helped.

I get medical cannabis for neuropathic pain with Sapphire Clinic, one of three private clinics in UK. Sessions on zoom. Initial assessment with consultant £100. Review with consultant then £50 every 4 months, private prescription for THC and CBD oils is approx £80 per month. Every person is different so products tailored individually so costs monthly can vary. Has turned down pain a few notches and better sleep.
Our homeopath, who also dowses (I know many people will think that's too whacky but it does work!) has recommended it for my husband. Just started and will update in a couple of weeks. Felt sick and foggy head after first dose but think we should have started with only 1 drop and built up to the 6 drops recommended for him. He used to feel the same if near people smoking dope so it may be that it simply won't agree with him. Cost + homeopath appt and drops £40 (high quality, no additives) should last him approx 6 weeks.
