Since using my wheelchair to get into town and to the gym I have noticed how being in a wheelchair makes me even more invisible than being an old white haired man. Some people notice my wheelchair, state of the art British engineering, but more are noticing and engaging with me since I have got a new cover for my cycle helmet.
Ribbit, ribbit.

Love the frog helmet 🤣. I find you have to make more of an effort to engage with many people when in my wheelchair. But on the other hand, some people are wonderful and treat you normally and participate with you. Usually it's people that have a friend or relative in a wheelchair or people who work with the disabled xx
