Hi i hope this may give hope to someone,i have just been in uclh for 31 days,prior to admission i was falling a lot and my speech was awful they were marvelous done loads of tests they cant fix my ataxia but found my blood pulse was very low i was taken to st barts on saturday and a pacemaker fitted remarkable result speech a lot better i still walk with a stagger but dont need my rolletor indoors 1st time for 9 months, i feel a new man i had given up hope before now feel i can live with my ataxia on my own i hope this might help those suffering best regards roy

🙂 It’s good to hear someone has had an improvement. You must have had a frustrating 31 days but the outcome was worth it.
Yes was a good result i wish we could all get better still wobbly walking but ballance 100% better
So, did you have a preexisting heart condition you were not aware of?
