Vaccination

My letter offering me a vaccination has just arrived.

That is good. Our local surgery rang us up, we, myself and my carer spouse are having ours tomorrow morning. Locally all vulnerables (myself with cerebellar ataxia) are being called by the surgery, this means we don't have to travel so far which is an unintentional blessing but each area seems to be doing it slightly differently. The NHS is really cracking on with it in many areas.

I am getting mine in a new DRIVE-THROUGH venue on Tuesday! Shot #2 will be scheduled then. I had my annual flu shot with a Drive-Through and it makes so much sense and is so easy! No standing in line, etc. I cannot wait.

I had my vaccine this afternoon following a telephone call from my local health centre on Monday to book me in at the local vaccination centre (about 20 miles away) It was very well organised when I got there and fingers crossed for no side effects! 🤞😀

I've had an aching arm since yesterday evening and got a dull ache sort of headache today. However it is nothing too bad and worth it to have gained some immunity!
