Good morning Bob, it is generally said that when someone in their autumn years gets a debilitating illness, people say ah well, they had a good life, but to my way of thinking, we want to live as long as possible...... hoping the family tests are all negative.

Try to have a good day Bob. 😀

It is very hard for everyone if you do know and they offer testing x

I think it’s best for my kids (25 to 33 years old) to know now than later. At least they would get a change to do all the things they would like to do in life before the Ataxia hits them.

I did not get that choice. This was taken from me at 46 years of age at the peak of my fitness because of Ataxia.
