Balance Aids

Has anyone had experience of using the dm orthosis vest or shorts (dmorthotics.com) to help with stability and balance? I have enquired about them but with consultation, fitting and appliance the cost is nearly £500 so rather expensive unless there is a real benefit.

My 5yo son has the bodysuit and shorts. They are very tight and uncomfortable for him. However I do think they work. They improve posture. And gave him better confidence. With school, toilet breaks etc If is difficult for a child to wear. But may be better for an adult. Depending how wobbly you get you may need help getting it on and off.

Thank you for the information. Dont yet know wheather to give it a try ot not. I believe children can get th on NHS but adults can only get them privately.
