So I have started taking both Trehalose 100 g daily and Tru Niagen 500 mg x 2 daily. Reason for this post is to ask if there is a cheaper and effective Trehalose sugar product. Currently buying Swanson (1 lb) (454 g) for $13 and finishes in 5 days so spending about 80 bucks a month.
I found couple of cheaper alternatives on ebay, adding a link below, would love to get your thoughts on if anyone takes them or if there are other cheaper alternatives that you know of.
People with Parkinson's are taking Mannitol and eating 10-20 g a day. Mannitol may be the same as trehalose in how it acts on misfolded proteins. Also be sure you research Green Tea Extract. It has the same effect in cell studies as trehalose and has no calories. The cheapest Niagen and trehalose I have found is this:
