This is not another question lucky for you :D. I want to thank you all, I have had one day at this sight and people are treating me very nicely going on this sight makes me very happy due to the positive thoughts of everyone. I really appreciate everyone here, everyone made me feel like I'm not alone and made me feel like I fit in even though I am 16 and this sight is dominated with people much older than me, who have more experience than me. It makes me happy every time I visit this site filled with you WONDERFUL people, to be honest I haven't felt like this in a very long time (I always felt lonely) that's why I'm very thankful!!! :DDD
Thanks to all!!!: This is not another question... - Ataxia UK
Thanks to all!!!
Dear Illerpath
What a lovely letter from you---you sound a very nice person so keep on reading everyone's items
I don't know where you live but there might be a group that you could join. Ataxia UK will be able to give you the information. The group I used to go to had a couple of young people in it and they seemed to enjoy the meeting very much They said that they liked being able to talk to other 'Ataxians'
Keep safe and look after yourself. Ted
Dear Illerpath, A HUGE welcome to you! I live in the US, am MUCH older then you, but there are wonderful people on this site for advice/support! You wrote a very nice letter! No matter that you're only 16, as all people on this site have one thing in common...,a form of ataxia! You're NOT alone in your journey! My best to you..., ;o)
Thank you for making me feel involved! It is amazing to see that their are a lot of people who care about my situations, you are right... We all are on one Journey and we will stand for the truth and rise above everything in our way! I appreciate your welcome as much as I appreciate you caring for me and wishing me the best :D.
I’m so glad you feel welcome on this sight! You are only sixteen and just starting out, so you can benefit a lot from the experience of what others, with Ataxia, have been, and are still, going through. My philosophy has always been, I may have Ataxia, but it doesn’t have me. I work around any deficits I may have and focus on what I can do, not on what I can’t do. I also modify exercise and tasks to make them more doable for me.
