Didnt realise my family was so big. Just spent the w/end getting to know some of them at Stansded at the 2017 conference. It was like stepping into a new world, one that was full of positive info.Tips, up to date research news and more importantly...a strong goal, held by us all.....HOPE. Cant describe the affect on me.To be able to see, talk to, and give and receive support with from real people .Yes expensive, but so so good and essential for those of us that can get there and just as important to take as much of this as possible to back to our support groups

Hope to meet more of my family next year!

Trisha

It would be good for those that can’t get to conference if it could be filmed and a link put on Ataxia UK, if they don’t already do it....Just a suggestion. xx 🙂

Hi, yes we did film it this year. We've got someone who's volunteered to do the editing work to prepare some of the sessions to be posted on line. I'm hoping this won't take too long and that we'll soon get them up on the website.

I tried to make arrangements to have the whole event live streamed but wasn't successful this time. I hope we can make arrangements for it to happen next time.

Best wishes, Sue

Hi Trisha, I'm so glad you enjoyed the Conference so much. I know that for many people, coming to their first one is a huge step and the anticipation of it can be very scary. Thank you for letting others know of the great experience you found it to be. Perhaps it will give some people who are nervous to come, the confidence to take the step next year! Best wishes, KSue
