Hi. I got Ataxia after having a traumatic brain injury in 2005. I have denied having any problems because of it until recently. My balance has gotten worse lately so I want to know what I can do about it. It looks like I can get some answers here thank goodness.

I go to 2 exercise classes a week. one for wheelchair users one for older people. I also went to tai Chi which is very good for balance. It is important to keep moving ! keep going ! all the best Sylvia

Hi😊 Coming to terms with the diagnosis is a big step forward😉 Keep as mobile as possible, exercise within your caperbilities, basically anything you enjoy and are confident doing🙂 A Neurophysiotherapist would be the best person to work out an exercise programme for you, to enable you to get the best result for your specific injury😊xB

It is hard but push yourself to the physical limit and throat exercises are good x
