Hi all

I was wondering if anyone knows of a centre for ataxia in Ireland/Dublin? I would be greatful to hear from you,also my hubby got ataxia 8 yrs he's now 63 in wheelchair not able to do anything by himself and is now wearing diapers and choking even wen drinking water very scary & stressful

Ataxia Ireland has set up a clinic in Dublin. It has a neurologist who is a specialist in ataxia. I'm sorry I don't know the contact details but give Ataxia Ireland a ring and they'll tell you. 012999033. Best wishes Sue

Dear Dish, I live in the US, so can be of no help...,sorry! I just want to tell you I'm so sorry your husband is having so much trouble with his ataxia. I see Sue replyed to you. Hopefully, the ataxia clinic can help him manage better! My best to you both...,;o)

Thank you so very much,yes I have now got a number in Ireland and will be onto them first thing tomorrow morning, I'm just so happy I never knew this forum or any ataxia centers existed the past 8 years. Hopefully now I can get some real help for my hubby.
