Hello everyone my name is Carole and I'm 52. My twin sister and I were diagnosed with hereditary cerebella ataxia two years ago. It's quite frustrating to keep discovering that you find doing a quick chore takes you longer to do and the reduction of your dexterity is quite frustrating.

Remain as fit as you can , for as long as you can. I'm 68 not out.
Hi Carole, welcome😊 Patience and determination are good allies😉xBeryl
Thank you for your support. I'm taking Fluoxetine each day for the patience and that helps!! 😉
Dear Carole, Welcome to this site! I'm 63 and was diagnosed with Sporadic Cerebellar Ataxia (unknown cause, progressive, symptoms 24/7) when I 49, although I had very minor symptoms starting at 43. Ataxia is very frustrating and challenging, but I try to concentrate on what a can still do, not what I can't! Also exercise for strength and balance is helpful! My best to you..., ;o)
I think knowing and communicating with people going through the same things as me is helping to make me feel stronger already! So thank you very much for your reply 😉
My goodness your very pretty I wish i looked as good!!
Thank you Bella - it was a good day! 😘
Thank you sweetie - you have a good Sunday too. Take care in the snow. X
