Hi, I have been diagnosed with Ataxia for three years and have had other issues making these years very rough with life. Is anyone interested in helping to get a group together for a Holiday. This is only a first thought to see any reaction, I am 55 I am in the Hampshire area.

I am hoping to go to |Lourdes in September and view it as a holiday with prayers ! there are various websites on holidays for people with disabilities but I did not want to go on one of these as I did not want to be labelled as disabled. now I find it is easier to do things- like exercise classes ) with other disabled people as they accept you as you are . I go to mainstream exercise classes and now people accept me as I am - I told the tutor what is wrong with me and when people ask me what is wrong with me I have selective deafness- I fell in one class and the tutor just said oh she often does this and no big deal was made- generally people are helpful but when I went to the neurologist this week and my carer came with me the clinic clerk asked HER when she should book the next appointment so I asked her to direct her comments to me- there is still the does she take sugar brigade! good luck with the search- on a rare visit to church there was an announcement in the newsletter inviting people to join a pilgrimage - anyone- you do not have to have a disability/religion to go- the group I hope to go with is HCPT and you can look on the website. all the bestSylviaxx
