Ataxia, 1940

I do 1940s living history events with Northamptonshire Home Guard. This year,I cannot drill, march or talk to the visiting public .Very frustrating. I have developed a character in civilian dress with WW1 medals, a Tank Corps veteran, gassed by exhaust fumes. I am now restoring an antique wheelchair. So if you see a 1940s man in a Tweed jacket, bowler hat and wheels, say hello.

Dear Nettles1, Kudos to you for thinking outside the box. Yes, not being able to do some of the things we use to do is very frustrating. We need to concentrate on what we can still do. Sounds like you've accomplished that! ;o)
