I just watched YouTube.com - Karen's hope: fighting Ataxia

Researchers at the University of Minnesota are exploring the

possibility of using Stem Cells derived from the patient's bone

marrow, to use as replacement for cells dying in the brain.

Hello wobblybee,

I discuss with my doctor about steam cell theraphy. he said its very early stage expietrence not sure ataxia people dont get any cure. i also saw more video about this and its treatment not proven sucessful. its a waste of money

🙂 You are both correct, at the moment Stem Cell Therapy is not a cure for Ataxia. Many people have wasted a huge amount of money, and sometimes have felt worse. Hopefully, within the next five years, there will be more than one approved treatment for Ataxia.
