It looks as though air pollution levels will be higher than normal in some areas, especially on Monday and in south-east England. Heat can exacerbate pollution so we’re advising people with asthma to follow our advice 👉 asthma.org.uk/advice/trigge...

One of our top tips is to check the air quality alerts in your area. When pollution is high, you should limit the physical activity you do outdoors, especially if you’ve noticed symptoms.

And remember to stick to your preventer routine so you can cope better with pollution and other triggers, and to carry your reliever inhaler with you to quickly deal with any symptoms.
