Spiriva Respimat via spacer

Hi all. I was prescribed Spiriva Respimat for my asthma. Are there any advantages of using it via spacer? Some people say that Spiriva should never be used with chamber devices, but I found this study:

Hi Bobcat, I use fostair inhaler with an aero chamber. Sorry I can't help with with your question.

I use a respimat but have never been told to use it with a spacer. I’m not sure you could as it’s not a press down action like my fostair.

and it is possible to deliver doses via spacer, but Spiriva Respimat is a mist inhaler, not a usual MDI device. Some people say that Spiriva Respimat shoud never be used with chamber devices because it's mist won't stay airborne in the spacer.
