I have been trying (with the help of my asthma nurse) to find the right combination for me since December. My best weeks so far (hardly using my Ventolin) were when using 6 puffs a day of Clenil 100 and two puffs a day of Serevent. However when my nurse suggested that I start to slowly reduce my Clenil I had (maybe coincidentally) quite a wobble. Fostair was suggested to me and I tried it for just over a fortnight but found I was having to use my Ventolin every day to varying amounts. So have just gone back onto my old regime even with its annoying number of total puffs and, although it is still only the second day seems a noticeable improvement. Has anyone else had the same experience? Also do you think perhaps if I wanted to try another combined inhaler do you think Flutiform might suit me better?

There are all sorts of inhalers out there so ‘shop around’ until you find the right one for you! Don’t forget that there are different dosages and different regimes too (SMART etc). Personally I’ve found Relvar to work brilliantly for me, and at 1 puff in the morning it’s like having freedom! I still have to regularly take my ventolin but feel like I have a lot more control now than I did before I tried it.
Finding the right inhaler is very much a trial and error system, so keep trialling until there is no error 😜
Hope you and your resp team find the best option for you soon
