Doctors and diagnoses.

Chronic asthmatic all m life. In 2013 I told my Doctor I was coughing up lots of phlegm (unusual for me) and in 2014 I asked another Doctor at the surgery to refer me for a CT scan as I suspected I had Bronchiectasis. She refused giving me yet another course of antibiotics which didn't work.

Eight months later a Junior Doctor suggested something was seriously amiss. Following referral and all too late I was diagnosed Bronchiectasis and Aspergillosis. The moral of this story I guess is too push your GP if you feel something is seriously wrong. The above has had dreadful consequences for me and if diagnosed earlier I might have had a fighting chance.

On another point as a medical person myself I do not take homeopathic medication. Every thing I take has to be "evidence based" and not some old wives tale. I do take vitamin C at my Wife's insistence but there is little evidence that does anything to improve your immune system.
