Does any one know if you can buy spacers that attach to your asthma pump over the counter or do you have to go to the docs?

They're on amazon etc bit I think they cost more than a prescription at about £10 so far better to ask the doctor to prescribe one, especially if you prepay.

You certainly can buy Aero chambers over the counter (I have bought two), so I suspect you can also find others. I can''t remember exactly what I paid, les than a tenner, perhaps £6-7.

Doctors will supply them on prescription, though if you have to pay it might be cheaper to get one in the chemists. x

Why can you not get one on prescription?

I bought one of these over the counter the other day for £8.75 - so only slightly more expensive than on prescription.
