Hi fb,

Personally, I have just bought the Omron microair since I found my other neb to be too big and too noisy, and this new one has been a total god-send. I put the batteries in and turned it on with no medication inside, and found it buzzed a little, but with the medication in, it makes almost zero noise! Small enough to fit inside a jacket pocket.

Like yourself, I pondered for a while before deciding which neb to buy, since different people have different opinions and views about all the available nebs, but I just took a chance, and I'm glad with my purchase.

Hope this helps a little.

I use pari rapid and think its great. Not as small as the omron micro but small enough to fit easily in a handbag. Zero noise and possibility of acquiring a plug gor car cig lighter or different prong plugs for different countries though it aldo works on batteries.

Hope you find what youre looking for.

I love my omron microair - it fits in a pocket, uses batteries or mains adaptor, and is SO quiet. A total revelation after a portaneb!!

Lynda :)

Thanks for the advice.

Think I am going for the Omron.

Now the next question....where is the best place to buy it?

Thanks x

I got mine from Evergreen. Cant beat their advice and support. They are online, if you type in evergreen nebulisers they will come up.

I have followed this message with interest because I would also like to get more portable nebuliser preferably one that would fit in my handbag.

I am considering the Omron Microair and the Medix portable.

I contacted Evergreen who recommended the Omron because if anything did go wrong with it their customer care/service is better.

Two questions I do have, though, how long does the Omron work on batteries for?

Can you use the Omron when on mains or is that just for charging?

Sorry if I have hijacked this message post.

I personally have the omoron as it is slightly quieter and that little bit more compact i felt. It was also perfect for me over night as it was completly silent and i need nebs every night and i didnt want to wake the whole house hold up just so i could breathe. But then i also only had the comparison over paper so i am slightly biased for which i prefer because of what i have. I think ive change batteries in mine once every 1 - 2 months and thats beind used every night

asthmagirl you can use the omron on mains, its not a charger unit as it takes normal batteries. I use it on mains at home mostly, and use batteries when out. The omron fits in my pocket! :)

I have just bought the Omron MicroAir nebuliser from Evergreen.

I have found this message thread very helpful as to which nebuliser to go for.
