Hi All,

A friend sent me this link today to ""give me some hope"", and I thought I'd share :-)

My mum sent me this yesterday

Looks great - but its not a cure and at £10k a session it'll be interesting to see how many people get it!

Im lucky in that i havent ended up in hospital due to my asthma (partly due to my stupid fear of the place and refusal to go!) so unlikely id be the kind of candidate for it but im sure could be great for those who spend more time in hospital than at home!

Yes, I was asked about this by several people and did answer quite similarly! There is also this clip to BBC radio with Dr Howarth from Southampton General talking about a new approach to treatment

saying that inflammation is a seperate symptom of ashma to bronchorestriction and they both need to be treated (preferably prevented rather than relieved)

Wonder if this will come up at my cons appt with him on Monday?!!! My best line, 'if you need to use your rescue meds on a regular basis, two or three times a week (I wish) then you need to be a preventative mediation to try an dprevent that from happening'.

Would it come across as rude to quote him to himself?!!!!! lol
