asthma meds and cholesterol levels?

hi! anybody knows if there's a link between taking inhaled corticosteroids and increased total cholesterol levels? my total cholesterol level is 185mg/dL, which is not considered high as yet, but i am only 20 and i'm underweight. was wondering if my meds may be the one causing the my cholesterol levels to increase. i've read online that corticosteroids should be stopped before testing cholesterol levels as they can affect the results. not sure how it affects though and i don't know if i should go do a fasting lipid profile! >< can anybody who knows anything about this please help?

thanks! (:
